Eva Baltay
President
Eva Baltay is a Structural Engineer with over 40 years of experience in developing final design, plans, and estimates for a variety of engineering projects. As a Senior Supervising Engineer, CADD Manager, and Senior Supervisor, Ms. Baltay has extensive experience in project and staff planning, as well as CADD design and production. She also is experienced in quality control and coordinating sub consultant and construction support. Ms. Baltay’s extensive experience in supervisory projects and passion for improving the healthcare system makes her excited about the Corrective Care Ministry’s mission statement and eager to serve as the President.
Jeffrey Birnbaum, M.D.
Vice President
Dr. Jeffrey Birnbaum is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Public Health at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and currently serves as the Principal Investigator and Executive Director of the Health & Education Alternatives for Teens (“HEAT”) Program. HEAT is the only program of its kind in Brooklyn to offer comprehensive medical and mental health care, supportive services, and access to clinical research for HIV+ and at-risk youth, aged 13 to 24. Dr. Birbaum’s work with HEAT plays in perfectly with the health initiative of the Corrective Care Ministry of preventing and treating diseases in Western Africa. Dr. Birnbaum has been an active part of CCM for many years and is enthusiastic to continue his work as Vice-President.
Udoh Obioha, M.D.
Executive Director
Dr. Udoh O. Obioha is a primary care physician practicing medicine for over 30 years. Dr. Obioha is a committed physician of the Universal Multi-Specialty Clinic, passionate about providing quality care to his patients while remaining respectful of cultural and social sensitivities. Dr. Obioha takes pride in being a team player, working in harmony with medical staff, patients, and their family members to ensure the health and well-being of his patients. Dr. Obioha has been an active part of the Corrective Care Ministry Inc. for over 30 years and is elated to be on the board as the Executive Director. He is looking forward to seeing this organization continue to grow and do more good improving the healthcare system in the USA and Western Africa.
